Daily Balance was founded by four friends from China who met through Peking University and Cornell University.We come from different hometowns, but we share the same feeling: many of the plants, rituals, and everyday wisdom we grew up with are deeply valuable — yet often overlooked.Daily Balance is our way of bringing those quiet Eastern traditions into modern daily life.

A Moment of Discovery
“I have never seen such unique plants in the West.”
During our time at Cornell, we traveled through China with our professor, exploring local towns, farms, and cultural spaces.
Along the way, he noticed the plants around us — herbs used in family baths, leaves in local kitchens, mountain-grown peppercorns, and botanicals cultivated by farmers.
Then he said:
“I have never seen such unique plants in the West.”
That moment made us see these familiar plants in a new way.ence made us stop and look again.
